AVON, Colorado ” When police in Avon, Colorado pulled over a car driving with only one working headlight on March 20, they discovered that the driver not only didn’t have a valid driver’s license, but wasn’t even old enough to have one.

Police said the 15-year-old was driving in his parents’ car with his other underage friends so they could see a movie in Edwards. The young driver admitted to taking his parents’ car without them knowing about it. They were in Denver at the time.

They found out after police called and told them. The driver’s 22-year-old brother had to come pick the teenager up and drive the car home, while the other boys were released to their parents.

They’ll be back in court ” with their parents ” soon, as they were summonsed with violating curfew, and the driver was hit with driving without a valid driver’s license and failing to provide evidence of insurance, as well.
