Vail, CO, Colorado
Dear Sheriff Joseph Hoy: On behalf of the Samaritan Counseling Center, I want to thank you for choosing us as one of the beneficiaries of the Avon Carnival, as well as to recognize all that your department did to contribute to the success of the event. I know it was additional work for your staff, and their assistance is greatly appreciated.
However, the main person who needs to be recognized, the one who did the vast majority of the organizational and legwork for this event, is Jeff Layman. Jeff not only was the one who worked directly with Brown Amusement Company, but he was also the one who made all of the initial connections with the various sponsors for the event. He was able to get the sponsors to give of their time and resources, without which the event would never have been the success it was.
I am sure that as sheriff, you frequently get to hear complaints, so I wanted to make sure that you were aware of the terrific job your staff did. As one of the organizations that directly benefitted as a result of the carnival, I wanted to ensure that you and all of your staff knew how much we here at the Samaritan Counseling Center appreciated them, both for their work on this event, and the work they do every day.
Here at the Samaritan Counseling Center, our mission is to provide emotional healing, guidance and support through professional, spiritually-integrated counseling and education. We save lives! So do you and your people! Thank you for helping us do our work.
