Thanks for support for crime victims’ week in Vail Valley
Vail, CO, Colorado
I want to say a huge thank you to Pollyanna, Chris, Jenna and the entire staff at Eat! Drink! and Dish restaurants for their support of National Crime Victims’ Rights Week. On April 29, they generously donated a portion of the proceeds from their restaurants to the Victim Services Unit at the Eagle County Sheriff’s Office. It was my first visit to Dish! and I have to say it wasn’t just a meal, it was an event!
Every year hundreds of our friends and neighbors are impacted by crime or crisis and volunteer victim advocates are available to assist them. But the gang at Eat! Drink! and Dish! are some of the folks quietly helping behind the scenes by raising awareness in our community about victims’ rights and resources.
Winston Churchill said, “We make a living by what we get; we make a life by what we give.” The folks at Dish! and Eat! Drink! are making life better for victims in Eagle County.
an opportunity to develop land at the edge of town, within eyesight of Interstate 70, has town officials excited about the potential for a long-lasting revenue infusion.
