A big thank you to Ms. Littman, Ms. Sideli and their wonderful Vail Mountain School 7th and 8th graders! The Eagle River Watershed Council and the Eagle River Water & Sanitation District were thrilled to team up with this energetic and enthusiastic group for a morning of willow harvesting near Black Lakes. The kids quickly became experts at spotting, lopping and pruning willows, smiling and laughing all morning long. The fruits of their labor will be planted along the Eagle River in the Edwards Restoration area. Thanks, Vail Mountian School!
