thanks News News | Oct 6, 2013 A big thank you to Ms. Stavney, Ms. Martin and their wonderful Eagle Valley High School sophomores and juniors! The Eagle River Watershed Council was thrilled to team up with this energetic and enthusiastic group for a full day of work at the Edwards restoration site. The kids broke into teams, some planting willow stakes and others bundling stakes with twine to create willow wattles that will protect the banks from erosion. The gorgeous weather and some rock skipping made it a memorable day. Thanks, EVHS!
