Summer plans: I’m gonna be living up in the hills having my dream job and worshiping God!!

Where are you headed this fall: University of Colorado Colorado Springs

If you’re leaving Eagle County, what will you miss most: I’ll miss the small town community!

In 10 years you’ll be: Happy

Favorite class you took: Under water basket weaving.

Class you wish had been offered: General life skills (taxes, bills, banks, how to survive adulthood).

Wyatt Harwood

Battle Mountain High School

Favorite school moment from any year: Taking 4th place in the 170 pound weight class at the CHSAA Wrestling Tourney in March 2016.

Give a shout out: My teachers, my coaches for wrestling, baseball and football and my long-time friends and local Dads, Dan Chopko and Marc Thomas.

Summer plans: Enjoying another summer of fun in the Vail Valley before I head to the humid Midwest.

Where are you headed this fall: Indiana State University in Terre Haute, Indiana to study Food Service Management and play football – Go Sycamores!

If you’re leaving Eagle County, what will you miss most: Definitely my little dog, Jack Frost!

In 10 years you’ll be: Hopefully I’ll be working as a private chef for a professional sports team like the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Favorite class you took: Mr. Franke’s Botany class

Class you wish had been offered: Philosophies of “Fit 2 Fat 2 Fit” with Coach Lohrey.

Favorite school moment from any year: Sophomore year when my DE Environmental Science class went fishing at the Gypsum Ponds

Summer plans: Headed to Chile and New Jersey with my best friend!

Colby Wilson

Vail Mountain School

Favorite moment or memory from any school year: I’ve been at VMS since kindergarten and I still remember my senior buddy. This year, meeting my buddy on the first day of school and getting to know her has been an amazing experience. Whenever I see her in the hallways or the lunchroom it always makes my day!

Summer Plans: This summer I’m going to Spain and Portugal with my family, and then visiting my grandparents in Connecticut. We’ll visit New York City where I’ll be able to take dance classes at a studio called Steps. I’ll also be working as an ambassador coordinator for the Vail International Dance Festival in July and August. This will be my fourth summer participating in this program!

Where are you headed this fall: I’m going to Elon University in North Carolina.

What will you miss most about Eagle County: I’ve lived here my whole life, so I will miss the familiarity of the people and places, but I’m so excited to move somewhere and gain new experiences.

In 10 years, you’ll be: Hopefully living in New York City and working as an event coordinator.

Favorite class you took: My favorite class was AP Literature during my junior year. There were only four of us, so we had a lot of input in what books we read and had opportunities for great discussions.

Dylan Cunningham

Vail Mountain School

Favorite moment or memory from any school year: Playing in soccer playoffs at our home field in front of the entire school during my senior year.

Summer Plans: I will be working, playing soccer, and traveling.

Where are you headed this fall: Stanford University

What will you miss most about Eagle County: I will miss the feeling of being in the mountains during the snowstorms of winter.

In 10 years, you’ll be: I will be working by doing something that I truly enjoy, and also exploring the world.

Favorite class you took: My four-person Calculus BC class with Mr. Compton. Every day was new, exciting, and interesting.

Favorite School Moment: Singing to the senior class of 2014 as part of our A Cappella group “Mad Melodies” during our end-of-the-year assembly.

Shout out: I want to thank all of the wonderful teachers at EVHS who made an impact on my life and my education.

Summer Plans: Spending time with family in Michigan and working to save money for college.

Where I’m headed this Fall: Loyola University Chicago

What I will miss most about Eagle County: My parents and the blue sky.

In 10 years I hope to be: A travel photographer for a magazine.
