AVON — Locals, tune in. The sixth episode of Public Access TV 5’s “The Community Project” drops today at 2 p.m.

The Community Project is a hip, fun and informative television program produced by locals, showcasing locals, for locals. The show is a creation of Public Access TV 5, the Vail Valley’s community access television station, located on the dial at Channel 5.

‘Locals @ Play’

Hosted by our very own Holly Trickel, this episode features live music by members of Town Cavalry with Jake Wolf. Don’t miss special segments such as “Locals @ Play” with professional mountain bike rider Gretchen Reeves, “Holly’s Hotspots” visits Nantucket and “Mikaela has Her Way.”

Producers invite everyone to drop by the studio by 1:45 p.m. to check out the show at Channel 5’s new studio in Avon. Space is limited, so RSVP at vailchan5@comcast.net or call 970-949-5657. If you can’t make it, then tune in live to Channel 5 or on the web at http://www.publicaccess5.org/videolibrary.cfm.

The station is always looking for locals to help run cameras, create segments, perform music or star on the show. If you’d like to get involved, then drop the station a line or email.
