‘The established’ insulted in Eagle

EAGLE, Colorado “-A graffiti vandal who has an issue with “the established” struck at a couple of Eagle, Colorado residences last week. The vandal painted profanities and messages about the topic on a Howard Street fence and a Capitol Street building. Both owners were contacted and the building owner reported the structure was slated for demolition. There are no leads in the case.
High beams least of driver’s worries
Police pulled over a man on Route 6 in Gypsum on May 5 for failing to dim his headlights, only to discover the driver lacked a license, insurance and proper plates, an Eagle County Sheriff’s Office report said.
The man said he borrowed the car he was driving from a friend.
Police issued the man a ticket for failing to dim his high beams, driving an uninsured car, driving without a valid license and fictitious plates.
Wildfires have become more numerous, bigger and more destructive in the past 40 years. That’s a big deal in a town surrounded by public land.
