The Meeker Sheepdog Championship Trials Sunday
MEEKER – Vail Symposium will be loading up interested parties on Sunday morning to drive to Meeker to witness the sheepdog championship trials.”If you haven’t done this before, you won’t want to miss this amazing day of sheepdog herding competition,” Deb Luginbuhl of the Vail Symposium.Cars will leave the Colorado Mountain College parking lot, Edwards Campus, at 7 a.m., just in time to arrive in Meeker for the final eliminations. There will be a tail-gate party while watching the smart dogs try to corral the not-so-smart sheep. Lunch will be available for purchase. Other activities include a crafts fair, food booths, dog exhibitions and bagpipe music. Bring lawn chair or blankets, sunscreen, drinks and munchies to share.
