The Silent Comedy opens for G. Love in Vail Saturday

Americana-rock band The Silent Comedy opens for G. Love & Special Sauce at Checkpoint Charlie in Vail tonight beginning at 6:30 p.m. Brothers Joshua and Jeremiah Zimmerman started the band to capture the feeling of the bar culture they worked in and the revival meetings they grew up attending. The outcome is an experience that has been described as “a whiskey fueled tent revival.” Based in San Diego, the band is Joshua (bass/vocals) and Jeremiah (keys, vocals, guitar) together with their cousin Chad Lee (drums) and long time friend Justin Buchanan (mandolin/banjo).
