The Wailers return to Agave in Avon
VAIL CO, Colorado
The Wailers were Bob Marley’s backing band, and still tour around the world with original bassist Aston “Familyman” Barrett. This winter they make their annual trip to the Vail Valley a bit earlier than usual, playing Agave in Avon Saturday night with special guests TUGG.
“I’m excited the Wailers will be here to celebrate with us New Year’s week, they always bring the good vibes to the Valley” says promoter Crawford Byers of Rocky Mountain Entertainment, “They have the greatest catalog to draw from of any touring reggae band – all Bob Marley’s hits.”
Together with Bob Marley, the Wailers have sold in excess of 250 million albums worldwide. Their annual stop at Agave is one of the highlights of the year. Doors open at 9:30 p.m., show gets going at 10 p.m. Tickets are $30 at the door. Call 970-748-8666.
