Things are heating up at the Kidstruction Zone

VAIL – Throughout the summer the Kidstruction Zone has taken shape around the Vail Square construction project. With interactive displays and educational murals, the “Zone” has been a hot spot for tourists and locals alike. On Sept. 3 from 10 a.m-noon, the Vail Fire Department will be hosting informative sessions focusing on survival prevention. These talks will include how to check smoke detectors, creating an escape plan, as well overall fire safety in the home. And besides learning some fire tips, kids can climb on the fire truck, talk with the firemen, and maybe even squirt water from the fire hose
