WEST VAIL – Three bands from Fort Worth, Texas, with three members who play in each other’s band will join forces at the Sandbar tonight for no-break music extravaganza.

AAA or A-hummin’ Acoustical Acupuncture will play first, followed by Confusatron, a funky jazz band, and Pablo and the Hemphill 7 will end the show with a heavy dose of reggae. All three of these bands have members that are in all three bands. They have fine tuned their playing and have created a “concept show” in which there is no break in music, no set changes and no lack of dancing.

The first band, AAA, starts the show off with a chill acoustic, percussion and violin based set with lead singer Daniel Katsuk’s vocals grabbing you. Toward the end of the group’s set, members from Confusatron start weaving in with AAA and start flowing towards the jazz portion of the show. The remaining members of Confusatron come in as the guys from AAA get out, and without missing a beat, Confusatron is blasting into their jazz set.

Members from Pablo will start to flow in and jam with Confusatron and just like before the music and artists slide into the reggae part of the show. All the while members from the other bands are coming in and out creating a unique experience.

The Fort Worth Weekly newspaper awarded AAA “best acoustic act” and Katsuk was awarded the top “Musician of the Year” award. Confusatron got “Best Jazz Band” and Pablo “Best Live Act.”For more information, call the Sandbar at 476-4314.Vail Colorado
