Tickets to WinterWonderGrass Festival in Steamboat Springs sold out
STEAMBOAT SPRINGS — WinterWonderGrass Festival organizers this week announced that tickets are sold out for the Steamboat Springs event. Tickets for WinterWonderGrass, a sustainable, community-focused, lifestyle-driven bluegrass and craft brew experience went on sale Oct. 13 and has sold out of all ticket types.
WinterWonderGrass also recently released the lineup for North Lake Tahoe at Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows, March 31 to April 2, with headliners Greensky Bluegrass, Leftover Salmon, Yonder Mountain String Band and The Infamous Stringdusters. An additional 22 bands will perform on four stages over three days. Three-day tickets are currently on sale starting at $139.
During the past five years, WinterWonderGrass has donated to local charitable organizations focusing on music and arts education, environmental protection and disaster relief. In support of Giving Tuesday, a global day of giving on Tuesday, Nov. 29, WinterWonderGrass donated 20 percent of all ticket sales to six nonprofit organizations.
This year, the festival has aligned with local Lake Tahoe organizations The Shane McConkey Foundation, Tahoe Food Hub and Arts for Schools, as well as Colorado nonprofits, Education Foundation of Eagle County, Routt County United Way and Yampatika.
For those fans who may have been left out in the winter cold, WinterWonderGrass is hosting a free welcome party Thursday, Feb. 23, from 2 to 5 p.m. at Gondola Square at the base of Steamboat Mountain, featuring several WinterWonderGrass artists.
