Tips sought in Battle Mountain High School vandalism

EAGLE-VAIL, Colorado ” Windows and fire extinguishers were damaged early one morning last week when Battle Mountain High School was broken into, the Eagle County Sheriff’s Office says.

Graffiti was sprayed on the school’s parking lot later the same day, Sept. 1.

The vandals also ransacked parts of the school and tripped a fire alarm around 2:30 a.m., the Sheriff’s Office says.

Overall, $4,800 in damage was done to the school, the Sheriff’s Office says.

Tipsters whose information leads to an arrest and indictment can ear up to a $1,000 reward.
