Great job

I’d like to send out a thanks to the county road crews who did such a great job keeping the Colorado River Road clear this winter. My name is Jack Bombardier.

Stinky garage

I am wondering why the Vail Village parking structure smells like puke and trash. It’s so bad it about blows me over when I walk in the hallway to the entrance of the parking garage, and it’s really disgusting. My name is Julie Hudson.

Boo to Hummers

I think if you drive a Hummer, you should be required to place a bumper sticker on it that says “land raper.” Kathy Smith

Not windmills

Robin Cunningham. Calling in regards to all the articles about the windmill installation in East Vail. Those aren’t windmills, they’re anenometers. They’re used for reading wind speed.

You sound like a bunch of idiots, calling them windmills. Somebody should have picked it up by now, because you’ve had about eight articles in the paper, and you’re making yourself look really stupid.

Right on, Ryan

This is Bob Walsh. I would just like to say to Ryan Sutter that his article on wind power was very informative and right on. Also, he hit the nail on the head, as they say, in referring to his comments on the windmill.

Thanks for a very fine article, Mr. Sutter.
