Move your King

Joey Brooks. I’m calling in today about the cheap King of the Mountain downhill biking race at Beaver Creek for the second year in a row. I was just wondering if Vail Resorts was understanding the definition of a professional. They have to do a tax write-off. There are a lot of locals that don’t have what it takes to come up with plane tickets and race entry fees that could probably hang right next to these professional riders, but they don’t have the money to back themselves up. So, when Vail Resorts wants to act like there is trail erosion and you can’t put a trail here to save a snail, then basically Vail Resorts is pushing a sport and creating jealousy with the locals. Please, Vail Resorts, give up your King of the Mountain and ship it to somewhere else, like France.

Remember D-Day?

My name is Paul Ramsey.

Just calling about the lack of coverage for what happened on June 6, 1944, which is D-Day, and the lack of coverage on the sacrifices our men and women gave on that day to allow the freedoms of the press.
