Tipsline: Eagle Co.’s rich should get jobs

Compiled by Vail Daily staff

The topic today is about employment and lack of employees, lack of housing for the employees, and the fact that the building is all for tourism, which creates employee growth. They also create homes, but they are for the rich. They are second homes (for people with) trust funds, therefore they’re not liking to work, and they don’t want a job, but they want everything handed to them yesterday.

Illegal immigration is a big problem in this town. They have 14 people per trailer, and that’s against housing safety rules, but they’re the only ones that are willing to do so, and they’re the only backbone for the jobs that there are, and they need more help. They need to get rid of these illegal immigrants and just have these rich people go and find a job here in the valley and help take care of it. Maybe they could wash dishes, or become a nanny for some other child if they can’t have kids, etc. But there is a problem, and the rich should get jobs.
