The Eagle Town Board joined municipal governments around the county to declare Tuesday, Dec. ,6 as Colorado Gives Day. This day of online giving is an opportunity for Eagle County locals to support area nonprofits in the vital contributions made for the betterment of our community. Visit www.eaglecogives.org to see the list of more than 40 nonprofits in our valley and schedule your gift of support for Dec. 6.

Gypsum Gun Club Open House

What: Celebration marking the completion of the new clubhouse facility

When: Saturday, Nov. 19

Time: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Practice starts at 9 a.m.

Where: Gypsum Shooting Sports Park, north of Interstate 70 at Gypsum exit

Details: Free lunch provided by the Gypsum Creek Grill and activities including rifle, pistol and shotgun turkey and bacon shoots are planned.

Winter Market and Holiday Fair

What: Eighth annual holiday vendor market hosted by Always Mountain Time

When: Saturday, Nov. 19

Time: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Where: Eagle River Center at the Eagle County Fairgrounds

Details: This showcase of local and regional craft and food will feature more than 60 vendors. Admission is free but attendees are urged to bring a non-perishable food item for the Vail Valley Salvation Army food bank. Santa will be on site from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
