Toastmasters club opens Vail Valley chapter

Daily Staff Report
Vail, CO, Colorado

Toastmasters International now has a club in the Vail Valley. Club organizers say the Eagle Valley Toastmasters will give members the skills and confidence they need to express themselves in any situation.

According to a release from the club, leadership is the art of persuading others to do what you wish to be done. To do so, you need to communicate and you need to work as a team. In Toastmasters, you’ll do both. And you’ll find out how to vary your approach to suit the needs of different people.

Since 1924, Toastmasters has helped millions of men and women become more confident communicators. The club claims its network and learn-by-doing programs can help people become better speakers and leadersfor a fraction of the cost of professional seminars.

The Eagle Valley Toastmasters club meets twice a month on the second and fourth Tuesdays from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. at McMahan and Associates, on the 3rd floor of the Wells Fargo Building in Chapel Square in Avon. For more information, call Trish French, 970-926-0251.
