Top talent agent to visit Vail Valley acting camp

EDWARDS – Angela Seaman, owner of a top Colorado talent agency, will meet with students at the Hollywood 101 On-Camera Acting Camp for kids, held in Edwards July 24-26.

Seaman’s company, Model Team, is considered the top agency in Aspen and the surrounding area. She has booked kids and adults in commercials and promotions including McDonalds, Pepsi, Dunkin Donuts, Harry Winston, Armani, Listerine, Hershey, Lipitor, Nissan, Chevrolet, State Farm Insurance and Kraft Foods. Aspen has a variety of modeling/runway shows which Seaman employs talent for, including Chanel, Christian Dior, and Stella McCartney/Adidas. Television shows she’s provided talent for include the Cartoon Network, X Games, America’s Most Wanted, and Comedy Central.As one of the top talent agents in Colorado, Seaman will talk with Hollywood 101 students about how to get an agent, how to prepare for an audition, and what it’s like to be an actor. It is the first time Hollywood 101 is featuring a talent agent.

Seaman is one of several featured teachers at this summer’s Hollywood 101 acting camp in Aspen. A filmmaker will coach kids through green screen scenes, professional photographer Kent Pettit will give tips on how to pose for a great headshot photograph (headshot photo included in the camp), and expert hair designer Kacee Picot, of The Salon and Day Spa in Avon, will help kids define their own image with optional hairstyle makeovers. The primary instructor is Kate Sheldon, star of Power Rangers, and Vail valley resident.

Sheldon started Hollywood 101 in 2004, and has conducted more than 26 workshops and camps in Denver, Boulder, Fort Collins, Steamboat Springs, Silverthorne, Vail and Aspen. A ten-year veteran of Hollywood, Sheldon has also appeared in numerous national commercials and several primetime television shows.During Hollywood 101, students have fun learning how to act on camera for commercials, movies and TV. They also learn cartoon voice-over, TV news reporting, talk-show hosting, monologues and comedy. Parents get a comprehensive Parents Info Guide detailing how to get their child started in showbiz.
