Town of Eagle announces sustainability Web page
Eagle, CO Colorado
EAGLE, Colorado ” The town of Eagle has launched a Web page that seeks to keep residents informed about sustainability practices and the town’s sustainability initiatives.
The page is accessible from the town’s main Web site, http://www.townofeagle.org.
It provides information on recycling, energy conservation, increasing mileage on your car, water conservation and lawn maintenance, among other issues. Brochures on these topics can be downloaded in English and Spanish.
In addition, the Denver Water Runtime Scheduler at http://saver.denverwater.org/runtimescheduler.asp is now equipped with information to help Eagle residents calculate the watering schedule for their lawn. The schedule is determined by factors including type of turf, sprinklers, and soil, as well as by the gradient of the lawn, and weather conditions in Eagle. Residents enter appropriate information for their lawn and the Web site provides a weekly schedule. By using this tool, residents can save money on their water bill and help conserve one of our most important resources.
For more information, contact Roman Yavich of the Town of Eagle Planning Department at 328-9628 or email@example.com.
While it will be postmaster Elizabeth Turner’s first busy season in Avon, it’s far from her first holiday-shipping crunch.
