A defective studio transmitter link knocked Radio Free Minturn, KLNX 107.9 FM, off the air for three days last week. Broadcast operations were restored on Friday thanks to a temporary fix. According to Liz Campbell, president of Radio Free Minturn, “We are happy to be back on the air now, but long-term, uninterrupted broadcasting requires RFM to buy a new transmitter. We desperately need listener contributions to help raise the $1,500 needed for a new transmitter.” Contributions can be sent to Radio Free Minturn at P.O. Box 987, Minturn, CO 81645.
