Many, many thanks

To all our friends and family who helped us celebrate the holiday season with wonderful contributions to the “Salvation Army Food Bank.” We are very grateful for your generosity. The Bright’s, Fawcett’s, Hammon’s and Smiley’s.

Correction

In the Park Hyatt/Eagle Seniors listing the correct spelling for Peach’s last name is Duty, not Buty.

Give back

It is not too late to sign up to be either a bell ringer or an Adopt-a-Family donor. Both programs, run through the Vail Valley Salvation Army, are in need of volunteers and donors. Bell ringers are needed for a 2 hour shift from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at seven locations in the Vail Valley and the Adopt-a-Family program is in need of donors for more than 30 families. Please call 926-3704 if you are interested in either opportunity.

Christmas concert

Come join Pat Hamilton and Peter Vavra and other local musicians for “A Christmas Concert” Friday at 7:30 p.m. at Beaver Creek Chapel. This very special night is to benefit the Vail Valley Salvation Army’s Adopt-a-Family program. Guests are asked to arrive early as there are no advance ticket sales and no reserved seating. Admission is a minimum $20 donation per person. For more information call 926-3704. Come out and support a great night of music and fun.
