Ryan and Trista headline auction offerings
America’s newlyweds Ryan and Trista will go on a double date with the winning bidder at the Youth Foundation’s radio auction today on KZYR, the Zephyr, on Friday.
The proceeds from the all-day on-air auction go to the Youth Foundation’s programs and projects in Eagle and Lake counties. The auction will run from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on KZYR, 97.7 FM.
“Having Ryan and Trista agree to the double date is a great addition to the auction,” said Susie Davis, director of development for the Youth Foundation, “especially considering that their wedding has put them in the national spotlight once again. We truly appreciate their willingness to help out, along with the generosity of everyone that donated items and services.”
In addition to the Ryan and Trista double date, auction items will also include a private wine-tasting party with live jazz entertainment; a Vail Resorts five-resort restricted season ski pass; four tickets in the Gallegos suite for the Feb. 16 Colorado Avalanche game with the Vancouver Canucks; a comprehensive financial plan from AXA Advisors; and four tickets to the 2004 Grand Prix of Denver from George Gillett.
Auction items will also feature services, including massages, personal training, a private yoga session, a video golf lesson and a makeover.

“The “Making Waves For Youth’ auction represents one of our primary fund-raising efforts,” Davis said. “Not only will people get the chance to bid on some great items and services, but they will also help raise money for some great regional youth programs. It really is a win-win situation.”
