VAIL CO, COLORADO
Our family suffered a great loss this week. On Feb. 23 we welcomed to the world a beautiful baby boy who was born prematurely at 25 weeks. Our son was immediately transported to Denver for what was thought to be a long and difficult recovery. For the next 72 hours we watched and prayed as our little angel fought to survive, but sadly 11 p.m. Feb. 26 he died from respiratory failure due to his extreme prematurity. We named our son Journey Thomas Lyon.
On Sunday beginning at 10:30 a.m. at Balata Restaurant in Singletree, our family will have a memorial service for Journey Thomas to celebrate his very short life. We would like to thank everyone who has extended their support, prayers and love to us over the past week. In lieu of flowers, we welcome donations to the Ronald McDonald House of Denver (www.ronaldhouse.org). We hope that by donating, we can offer assistance to those families in need who have children being treated at a Denver-area hospital. We thank you for your kindness.
Sincerely, Eric and Dallas Lyon, Edwards.
