Hello and welcome to Town Talk, the column that demands one clementine-flavored Izze, one package of teriyaki-flavored beef jerky and four rolls of Spree, with the flavors pre-sorted into small bowls.

This week, the Towers came across a contract for the Dirty Dozen Brass Band, a frequent visitor to Vail. We wanted to share with you what they ask for as far as hospitality at each concert:

– “Hot buffet meal for eight (8) of equivalent food buyout of $15 person for eight (8) to include entree, vegetable, rice or pasta, dessert, coffee, tea and condiments. Please note: There are three (3) vegetarians among the eight (8). Entree to be advanced by the artist.

– Dressing room setup to include: a selection of Chinese food that includes various dishes.

– One (1) case assorted soft drinks (Coca-Cola and 7-Up).

– One (1) gallon fruit juice (cranberry and orange juice ” not from concentrate preferred).

– One (1) case premium beer (Heineken). One (1) case domestic beer (Coors Light).

– One (1) fresh fruit tray.

– One (1) bottle of red wine (Cabernet).

– One (1) bottle of sparkling grape juice.

– One (1) case bottled water.

– One (1) six-back of Kaliber nonalcoholic beer.

We wonder what Snoop Dogg’s or Kid Rock’s list looked like.
