Congratulations Battle Mountain High School Future Business Leaders of America! Twelve BMHS FBLA students competed at the FBLA State Leadership Conference held in Vail, April 19-21, along with 2,500 other Colorado FBLA members. The BMHS Community Service Project, prepared and presented by Elie Cahill and Sarah Melzer, won 1st place and will compete at the National level this summer in Anaheim, California. Also qualifying for nationals is the 2nd place Global Business team of Alyssa Evans, Lizzy Gerken, and Melody Rosen. Charles Gladitsch finished 4th in Job Interview and Sydney Idzikowski placed 6th in Introduction to Business. Other BMHS competitors included Olivia Fauland, Chris Lindbloom, Carsyn Bock, Lia Palmer, and Jillian Kiss. Congratulations and good luck at Nationals!

Participate in The Longevity Project

The Longevity Project is an annual campaign to help educate readers about what it takes to live a long, fulfilling life in our valley. This year Kevin shares his story of hope and celebration of life with his presentation Cracked, Not Broken as we explore the critical and relevant topic of mental health.
