Eagle River Ducks Unlimited banquet Saturday
The good folks at Ducks Unlimited want you to have a good time Saturday when they host their annual banquet at the Eagle County Fairgrounds. It’s 5 p.m. For just $65 per person and $120 per couple (price includes membership and dinner) you get to be part of a raffle and silent auction, and more fun than humans are supposed to have. Ducks Unlimited is a conservation group formed in 1937 to help protect critical wetland habitat. Contact Wendy at at 471-1787.
Vail Mountain School is helping parents answer that brutal summer question, “What can I do?” VMS is hosting its fourth annual Summer Stuff information fair for families in Eagle, Summit, Pitkin and Lake counties. Representatives from more than 25 summer camps and summer activities will be on hand to share information for summer opportunities for children ages 5-18. It’s noon to 4 p.m., Sunday, March 14 at VMS. These camps are local, state, national and international opportunities. Summer Stuff is organized by the Vail Mountain School Parent Association to provide information to families in the central Rocky Mountain region. The VVCTB Breakfast Scrambler is 8 a.m., Fri., Feb 27, at Fiesta’s Cafe and Cantina in Edwards. $15 exclusively for VVCTB partners. Almost 100 VVCTB partners attended the last mixer.
