Colorado State University Cooperative Extension and Eagle Valley Library District is offering a free educational financial series called. Learn to take care of your money and how to let your money take care of you at “Take the Road to Financial Security.” It’s the third of a five-session series, and it’s 6 p.m. Monday, March 8, 2004, in the Eagle County Commissioners Room in the Eagle County Building, in Eagle. Call the Extension office at 328-8630 or the Eagle Public Library at 328-8800.

Lions Club Spaghetti Dinner Friday

You can get a jump on the bidding for the Eagle Lions Club Silent Auction, part of that day’s spaghetti dinner, 5-7:30 p.m Friday at Eagle Valley Elementary School. Stuff you can bid on early include a six-day Alaskan adventure (valued at $4,350); a 2004-05 Multi-Resort Season Ski Pass (valued this year at $1,499); and 200 square feet worth of free labor for hardwood flooring installation (valued up to $1,200). Bid at Alpine Banks in Eagle and Gypsum; Eagle and Gypsum Town Halls.
