Crotzer spent more than a week rescuing animals from the flooded neighborhoods of New Orleans. She’s back there now, but more hurricane dogs are on their way to Colorado. The problem is there’s not enough shelter space. That means volunteers are needed to provide foster care to the dogs in the shelters now.
To volunteer, go to goodsamaritanpetcenter.org. If you can’t provide a room, donations for pet food, human volunteer food, veterinary supplies and transportation are being accepted by American National Bank in Eagle. Checks can be mailed to P.O. Box 4660, Eagle, 81631.To learn more, call Crotzer, 376-6999. She’s back in the Gulf Coast area at the moment, so cell service may be spotty. Feel free to leave a message….. .
