. Scum alert!A good friend sent the following:”Someone broke into my friend Leonardo’s van in Avon and stole all off his painting tools and equipment, including a $2,500 paint sprayer. Leonardo is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet. He worked hard with that stuff to make a living for his family. The police have been notified, and I’ll offer a reward to anyone who knows the dirtbag that did it and helps to catch him.”We’re not sure how the reward would work, but we do have this good friend’s e-mail address. If you have good information, give Scott Miller a call and we’ll put the two of you in touch. Not your hat
An anonymous caller left a message recently about a missing hat.The caller was coming home from an afternoon jog Sunday when she saw a bicyclist stuffi a cowboy hat into his jersey, then ride away. The hat had apparently fallen out of the caller’s husband’s pickup, and was sitting in the couple’s yard. That’s where the cyclist grabbed it.So, if you have a “found” cowboy hat taken from a yard, please return it to that yard, no questions asked.Remember, a wrong corrected with a right balances the scales of karma, at least until the next time you’re out at a bar.New graduate
