Daily Staff Report
Dual Language first-graders at Edwards Elementary School have been studying dinosaurs for the past month. Each student chose a dinosaur to study and learned to use resources to put their facts into report format. They also created displays, dioramas and dinosaur eggs and invited the rest of the school to come and view their "Dinosaur Museum." From left:Greyson Magana, Jaime Ledezma, Chapin Benway and Zoe Livran look at one another's displays. Edwards Elementary Dual Language Focus School is open to the public to promote learning in English and Spanish.

. …. Panel discussion

Ms. Abbott, the BMHS junior/senior counselor, would like to invite BMHS alumni to be part of a panel discussion Wednesday from 10:50 a.m.-12:45 p.m. in the BMHS auditorium. The purpose of the program is to provide an opportunity for our BMHS graduates to share information regarding college admission, college life and particular colleges with the current students at BMHS. We are asking alumni to wear their college sweatshirts. We will have a meet-and-greet mixer followed by a panel discussion with questions. Alumni, please R.S.V.P. to Jan Abbott at jabbott@eagleschools.net or call 970-328-2935.Thanks!Edwards Elementary School sends a big “thanks!” to the Snow Riders Safety Alliance for presenting a safety talk to the students recently. The snow riders talked about safety on the mountain and knowing the skiers’ responsibility code. McGruff the Crime Dog came out, as did Blue, the Beaver Creek Ski Patrol’s more conventional dog. This safety talk helped prepare students for the annual Learn to Ski days on the mountain.
