Daily Staff Report
It's been a huge year for Mike "the man" Devins.  Got married to the beautiful Shana in May, and now they're about to become parents. To top that off, Mike was instrumental in the listing and subsequent sale of the Colorado Mountain College Vail campus! Mike is a broker with RE/MAX Vail Valley, and is shown in the attached picture with Bob Behrens of RE/MAX Alliance Commercial as they donate part of their commissions to the College.

. Please returnAttention anyone in Vendetta’s on Saturday, Feb. 4: If you accidentally took a black Burton soft shell jacket thinking it was yours, please return to Vendetta’s ASAP. I know you retrieved your jacket the following day from the bar but didn’t bring that one back. I would be grateful if you would return mine. Thanks!Making the listsWe recently received a handful of notices about local kids making the Dean’s Lists at their respective colleges and universities.Colorado State University in Fort Collins sends word that Avon’s own Alissa Aldyth Froreich, a senior majoring in management, earned a 4.0 grade point average in the fall semester. We also heard from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, a small school at which Emily Ewing of Vail is now a freshman. Ewing is majoring in psychology and religion.

To make the Dean’s List at Luther, a student must earn a grade point average of between 3.5 and 4.0. Another Vail kid, Leah O’Brien, was named to the Dean’s List at New England College in Henniker, N.H. Congratulations to all!….
