Wild West Days, the “biggest, baddest fundraiser in the valley,” is looking for a storage space because it is about to lose the ones it currently occupies. If you can help by donating a 10 x 12 foot space to the event that benefits all eight local elementary schools it would be greatly appreciated. ….P.J. Jenick, the competition director for Ski & Snowboard Club Vail, was recently awarded the 2007 West Family Award. The award is given every year to an outstanding United States Ski and Snowboard Association Certified Alpine Official. Jenick will receive the award at the USSA Chairman’s Award Dinner in Deer Valley, Utah on May 18. Jenick has been involved in ski racing his entire life, including a stint on the Western State College ski team. After his collegiate racing days, he moved into coaching and teaching at the high school level. Jenick came to the Ski & Snowboard Club Vail family in 1997.Congratulations!………
