As in years past, the town of Vail is managing parking at Ford Park on about 40 peak days during the summer to help alleviate traffic congestion and improve pedestrian safety during multiple events at the park. A $5 fee is charged from either 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. or 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., depending on event schedules.

New this year is the presence of a parking attendant beginning at 7 a.m. on every peak day, regardless of the hour when paid parking begins. Attendants will request that vehicles looking for all-day parking not related to Ford Park activities use the Vail Village or Lionshead parking structures. In addition, motorcycles now are charged the $5 vehicle fee during paid-parking times.

We appreciate your understanding, and thanks for helping to keep events Ford Park both successful and accessible.
