On April 27, the Eagle County Charter Academy toured the Colorado Ski & Snowboard Museum and visited with 10th Mountain Division veteran and Hall of Fame member Sandy Treat. The fourth-graders heard stories from Sandy about training at Camp Hale and the 10th Mountain Division. Pictured in center is Sandy surrounded by the great fourth-graders from ECCA. Through its Amenity Donation Program, The Arrabelle and The Lodge at Vail last year donated 3,198 bars of soap to the Clean the World ( Program, which will distribute the supply to children and families in need worldwide.

The Eagle County Healthy Aging Program offers shopping and errand trips to seniors ages 60 or older every Monday. Trips depart from alternating locations (Eagle and Minturn) every Monday. Limited home pick-up is available for this service. Please call 970-328-8896 for more information.
