On March 28 at 231 Nottingham Road (Balas West Condominiums), between 4:45 p.m. and 10:45 p.m., my house got vandalized and robbed while I was at work. The culprit rummaged through all three bedrooms and took a substantial amount of money. Please keep your eyes and ears peeled for any suspicious activity (i.e., someone buying rounds of shots who normally doesn’t, someone going on a trip all of a sudden, buying a new car, wearing new fresh gear, anything that arises your suspicion or out of the normal). This makes it the fourth robbery this week in Avon. There is a huge reward for anyone who has any information leading to an arrest. You may remain anonymous. Please call Avon Police with any information. Thank you.
The Breckenridge Resort Chamber has extended the deadline for Oktoberfest art submissions to April 6. Artists from across Colorado are invited to submit artwork for the 18th annual Breckenridge Oktoberfest, to be held Sept. 14-16. The event is one of the largest Oktoberfest celebrations in Colorado and draws thousands of visitors to Main Street during the two-day street party. Winning artwork will appear on the 2012 Breckenridge Oktoberfest steins and may be used on posters, merchandise, print advertising and other event collateral.
For more information about submitting art, contact events director Sandy Metzger at 970-453-5074 or email@example.com.
