Visit Walking Mountains Science Center today for The Science Behind Medicinal Gardens at 6:30 p.m.! Plants and gardens have a greater purpose than simply to be eye-catching sources of food. Discover the science behind designing a medicinal garden. During this program, we will discuss the history and origins of medicinal plants and examine the health benefits of plants such as arnica, lavender, basil and chamomile. We also will demonstrate how to design a garden to address symptoms such as pain relief and stress reduction. Seats are limited; please call 970-827-9725 to reserve your space.
