Come pick up treats at the Eagle-Vail Community Garden Bake Sale Aug. 11 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Minturn Farmers Market. Look for the cute girls wearing flowers in their hair and support this amazing community project. We are accepting donations of baked goods Aug. 10. Kristin L. McGinty, of Gypsum, and Allison L. Lanes, of Vail, were named to second honors on the Clark University dean’s list. This selection marks outstanding academic achievement during the spring 2012 semester. To be eligible for second honors, students must have a grade point average between 3.5 and 3.79, of a maximum of 4.3. Clark University is an innovative liberal arts college and research university in Worcester, Mass.
