On Sunday, e-town in Edwards will be hosting a special “Sunday Funday” to benefit the Eagle Valley Alliance for Sustainability. From 4 to 7 p.m., e-town will be pouring Crazy Mountain Amber Ale for $1 each, with 1 percent of the proceeds going to the Eagle Valley Alliance. Stop by e-town after your Sunday hike, mountain bike sesh or river adventure to quench your thirst and throw a little help towards the Eagle Valley Alliance for Sustainability (www.EagleValleyAlliance.org).
My parents, Pat and Jackie Shellenberg, from Topeka, Kan., are back in Vail for summer No. 35! They are perched atop Vantage Point in Lionshead and have been going there every summer since 1976. If you see them around town, say hello and make sure Jackie does not pick any wildflowers when she thinks nobody is looking! Maybe we can get there to join them next summer. With all our love, Mom and Dad, John, Joni and Dan.
Susi called to say how much she appreciated the great service from Ko and Steve at the computer store in the West Vail City Market.
