Do you have old, abandoned, unloved bicycles taking up precious space in your garage? Drop them off for the Minturn Middle School bike co-op students to fix up! Students will be collecting bicycles today at the Minturn Forest Service parking lot from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Questions? Have a bike but can’t drop it off? Contact Kari Bangtson at firstname.lastname@example.org or 970-328-2810.
Thank you to the Eagle River Inn, the best family and big-group lodging in all of Eagle County. Old Dog and Cass Galloway made the Ute Indian Snow Dance possible with their immense generosity and by hosting our guests at their inn the past weekend. Joe, the inn manager, also was extremely helpful in making our guests feel at home in Minturn and showing them what a great small town we live in. Maloit Park, Beaver Creek and Vail were all blessed through the ceremonies, and the Ute Indian Snow Dance was a great community event, where the two cultures were able to gain further understanding.
