The Vail Valley Men’s Fraternity is sponsoring a wild game cook-off today at the 4 Eagle Ranch in Wolcott from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The cook-off will be judged by local chefs and the public, so bring the kids and join us for a day of unique food and family events such as dog sledding, snowmobiling, sleigh rides, a BB gun sharpshooter contest and much more! There will be an exhibition by Top Chef Kelly Liken and Santa Claus will be in attendance.Tickets cost $15 for adults and $10 for children (children under 4 are free) and include the wild game tasting from the competitors and lunch in addition to all event programming. They’re back! The Salvation Army is delighted to announce that Pat Hamilton and Peter Vavra will once again be performing their “Christmas in Vail” concert Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at the Beaver Creek Chapel. The annual event benefits the Salvation Army. Joining Pat and Peter will be Sally Peterson, Jeff Layman, Mike Peters and a surprise guest or two. Make sure you save the date!
