Come one, come all: Winterfest returns to Beaver Creek Resort! Blue Creek Productions presents a daily holiday tradition from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m., from now until Jan. 5. Families are drawn into each evening’s performance, beginning with a children’s parade. Kids are invited in to participate along the parade route at any point between the covered bridge and the ice skating rink. All children receive souvenir buttons to keep as mementos of their participation. Ice sculptures in the shape of life-sized animals, such as a polar bear and cub, penguins and more, are already on display for viewing anytime. They “come alive” along the way to join the evening’s story. During this time, some children will have the opportunity to take on a bigger role in the production, by actually joining the cast in what becomes a true theatrical show, bringing the fairy tale to life. Don’t miss out … this is one super special event for all local residents and visitors!
