Participate in The Longevity Project
The Longevity Project is an annual campaign to help educate readers about what it takes to live a long, fulfilling life in our valley. This year Kevin shares his story of hope and celebration of life with his presentation Cracked, Not Broken as we explore the critical and relevant topic of mental health.
The Battle Mountain High School music departments will be performing a winter celebration concert on Wednesday at 7 p.m. We would like to invite everyone to kick off the season with some holiday cheer. In the spirit of the season, the students are asking for at least one non-perishable food item per person for admission. Following the concert, the music students will deliver all of the food items to the Salvation Army food bank. The ensembles will be celebrating the season with such tunes as: “Carol of the Bells,” “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” themes from “The Nutcracker” and exciting cadences performed by the drumline. Please, come share this musical celebration while giving back to the community.
