The Burning Bowl Ceremony will be celebrated at Unity of the Mountains on Sunday at 5:30 p.m. at the Avon Library. The ceremony is a symbolic way to cleanse our lives, to rid ourselves of the old pictures in our heads and replace them with a new way of viewing ourselves and our world. Replacing them is accomplished by writing a letter to God expressing gratitude for the fulfillment of our desires and the new way we choose to experience ourselves. Music will be provided by Pat Hamilton, and Lee Rimel will lead the service. A meal will be provided after the service.

Stone Creek Charter School and the eighth-grade class is hosting a fundraiser at Marco’s Pizza in Edwards, today from 5 to 8 p.m. The eighth-graders will be bussing tables to raise funds for their annual trip to Washington, D.C., in the spring. We hope many families are able to ‘dine out’ and support our fundraiser!
