A memorial service will be held for Clayton and George McRory today at 3 p.m. at the Sunset View Cemetery in Eagle. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Jack’s Place in care of the Shaw Regional Cancer Center in Edwards.

Wanted: Patrons to attend the special enchilada dinner catered by Emily’s Angels (one of the relay teams raising funds to fight cancer). It will be held today at Eagle Valley Elementary School. There will be two seatings – one from 4 to 6 p.m. and another from 7 to 9 p.m. Please consider having your dinner at the school tonight. The money raised will go to the society for help in fighting cancer. The cost of the tickets is $15, a very nominal fee considering the delicious dinner you will have. There will be hot dogs for children younger than 8 for $5. There will also be some entertainment.
