Gardner-Webb University is pleased to announce that Zackary William Edgar, of Gypsum, made the honor roll during the spring 2012 semester. The honor roll recognizes those outstanding students who achieve a grade- point average between 3.2 and 3.7 for the semester.

Caroline Tappe graduated with a bachelor’s degree in economics from Colorado College. Tappe is the daughter of Andrew Tappe, of Weston, and Dianne Tappe, of Edwards. The college awarded 525 undergraduate degrees and five Master of Arts in teaching degrees at its 130th commencement ceremony, held on May 21 outdoors on Armstrong Quad.
Kristin L. McGinty, of Gypsum, received a degree from Clark University on May 20. McGinty graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology.
During the 108th commencement exercises, Clark awarded 546 baccalaureate, 520 masters and 26 doctoral degrees. Carol Geary Schneider, the president of the Association of American Colleges and Universities, delivered the commencement address.
