The Eagle-Vail Community Garden hosts a seed sale Monday at 6:30 p.m. at the Eagle-Vail Pavilion. The Garden Committee has hand-selected 72 different varieties of unique veggies for your high altitude garden, and they’ve sorted for individual use (who needs 250 kale seeds?) These seeds are organic or heirloom and not genetically modified, perfect to sow directly in the ground. Offerings include five-colored swiss chard, Paris market carrots, golden beets, lemon cucumbers, watermelon radishes and much, much more. This event is a fundraiser for the Eagle-Vail Community Garden. So come out and show your support for locally grown food. Contact with questions.
