At approximately 5:30 p.m. on Monday, a dark brown mens Carhartt jacket was left behind at the Lionshead bus stop near Montaneros. When we realized the mistake, not more than 20 minutes later, we returned to the bus stop and the jacket was gone. It is our sincere hope that someone noticed the jacket and turned it in to Vail Transit or the Vail Police Department’s lost and found, but if you picked it up by mistake or if you were hanging around the bus stop at that time and noticed it walk off, please call Krista at 563-370-3912. You can also return it, no questions asked, to the Vail Daily office on U.S. Highway 6 in Eagle-Vail. Thank you.
